Here's another one: Jazz Times magazine was founded in 1970, and to mark the half-century, 50-year-old drummer Brian Blade (Joshua Redman, Bill Frisell, Wayne Shorter, John Patitucci, Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell) put together an annotated playlist of favorite tunes from that year.
