I just heard on Planet Rock that the guitarist Bernie Marsden has died aged 72, Bernie Marsden dies aged 72

I saw him a few times with Whitesnake. Loved his solo albums. RIP Bernie

What horrible news!

While well-known for some of the bands he was in, his solo work and his albums with Mickey Moody are really enjoyable. Shine, in particular, is a high point album for me.

What a terrible loss... and so relatively young, too.
