Oof--only 63. Studied with arranger Don Sebeskey. Longtime member of the Steely Dan Band, although earlier in his career he also toured with Mahavishnu, Wayne Shorter, and Pat Metheny, among others. In surround, you can hear him on the Brecker Brothers live album Some Skunk Funk (Telarc, 2005), as well as his own Revolutions (Intuition, 2008), with Amsterdam's Metropole Orkest.
