Hey @cbmmm3 , the Rangers beat the Red Wings last night 4-3. It was a really good, close game with both goalies making some spectacular saves. The Red Wings needed the game much more than the Rangers, but it didn't quite work out for them.

The Red Wings are now one point behind the Philadelphia Flyers for the last playoff spot. The Red Wings MUST get past the Flyers, so they had better start winning. As a faithful Rangers fan, I totally despise the Flyers and would much rather see the Red Wings make the playoffs.

(Capitals, Islanders and Penguins are also in the mix with the Red Wings and Flyers for the last two playoffs spots, but I don't hate any of those other teams. Did I say that I absolutely loathe the Flyers?)
thanks for your support. But - the Wings are heading in the wrong direction. They have really struggled in the past 2 months. Im disappointed in their play

@ar surround -...I don't know if it was mentioned here or not but I'm wondering if you felt the earthquake in your area yesterday?
Your darn tootin' we did, Bob! My cousins, who live 25 miles from the epicenter, said that their rumble lasted for 5 seconds. However, we live only 15 miles from the epicenter at a much higher elevation, and it rumbled here for at least 40 seconds...possibly longer for it to fully dissipate.

My wife asked why I was so calm during the event. Well, it didn't surprise me. The prof who taught me soil mechanics said that this area had seen a few quakes of this magnitude over the last three hundred years, and that we were due for one. That was almost 50 years ago, so I've been anticipating this.

A few residences in Newark, NJ were damaged but were deemed structurally safe this morning after being inspected:

There has been other damage such as water main breaks. Also, a damaged valve in the attic of a historic building in Morristown caused some water damage.

there was a 5.8 earthquake in 2011. The epicenter was in Mineral, Virginia.
That one was felt pretty far north and south. I believe it may have damaged the Washington Monument (I seem to remember).
They are so rare on the US east coast that by the time everyone realized what it was, it was over.

Did you watch the female Gamecocks go undefeated?

So now the NFL is going to South America! I guess it could be worse...they could be playing over in Ukraine.
I can see it now...🤔 Putin doing the coin flip..(he'd probably keep the coin, just ask Robert Kraft about the time he showed him his SB ring)..or maybe a game at Gaza? Just clear out a bunch of the rubble & construct a makeshift field!
Well, maybe the start time will be close to Central time zone not like that game GB played in London 2yrs ago.
That sucked! Besides the Packers losing to NY, it was on way to early here to enjoy.
I can see this game screwing up the whole year for them.
I'm starting to think I may need some green koolaid!
Ricky you got any?
