Sony SQD-2020 Possible problem? Help!

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not. They sound pretty even and I have not had much time for critical listening yet. Please watch the video. Much easier to explain and show on video.

Looks to me like you are looking for a problem that is not there.

To be honest...I have rarely used 2-4...It's basicly used to creat theater effect from mono or stereo records, tapes or radio broadcasts.

I was under the impression the 2 -> 4 option was just the double stereo option, no matrix.

Obtaining schematics for any of the Sony decoders seems impossible but I wonder if the 2>4 option is a line-level Hafler type circuit. Based on the description in owners manuals, it seems so.

No problem Doug. They Are next to impossible to find or get. Was just lucky someone sent me something. Still many holes in the collection.
