Mike Keneally (former Zappa guitarist) has a new live DVD coming out. When he posted on Facebook that it would have a 5.1 mix, I wrote and suggested that he make sure the DVD had DTS encoding. Here's what his manager wrote back to me:
"J.D.-- Your suggestion to master the DVD in DTS 5.1 in addition to Dolby 5.1 inspired us to splurge for the technology, and the result sounds AMAZING!"
