Linda, I have a stupid question, what is a blue spec cd and does it make any difference? I had seen these advertised before but don't know what is involved. Do you hear a difference on this new cd? And I assume you verified it is the SQ mix?

Yes, it's SQ. Blu-Spec is a CD mastered using Blu-Ray technology. I have
3 and they do sound better. Yes, I bought the last one at Dusty Groove. Likely they'll get more.

Linda, how does the SQ blue spec disc compare to the original SQ..Is there a noticeable improvement in separation and what SQ decoder are you using?
The reason I ask is because there is a website that says the marantz SQ decoders all sounded the same because there was never any software issued that was agggresive enough for the hardware.
