The thread on early Hong Kong quad recordings inspired me to post this.

Tonight, on Facebook, I came across the below video clip of The Hui Brothers Show, a sketch comedy show that was produced and shown in Hong Kong from 1971 to 1973....



The video shows a shady stereo salesman (played by Michael Hui, in the bright yellow shirt) trying to pull a fast one on a unsuspecting customer. The interesting part of the sketch involved the 6 speaker, multichannel setup that was used as prop for the sketch. The dialog is in Cantonese, and if you listen to it, you would hear Michael mention his younger brother's name, "Samuel Hui". Little did Michael knew back in the early 1970s that his brother's legendary 1987 concert would get released on Blu-ray Audio in 2015, completely remastered in 5.1 glory (see below HK Universal Music print ad)....
