Agree with otto on the Tears for Fears. I also second my own request for "2112." Can't think of anything else right now.

Oh yeah, SW or bust on these.

In no particular order...........(but using numbers to keep count).
I am assuming (I know, to assume is to make an ass out of you and me) that they will be properly mixed and not fucked up, although recent evidence says that is optimistic.

i thought i'm only one here who listen/likes Rammstein and been hate for this :)

beside this remark, would be nice to laid hands on master multies of JC - Superstar.
such multilayered and rich on different genres a masterpiece could be turned (by the right hands ofcourse)
into amazing surround release. that's a shame this one hadn't been remixed into quad, albeit was in the proper
time frame and perhaps huge seller.

Great list inkubuzz, but I'd love to hear these in 5.1 in particular:

6 Dream Theater - Images & Words
7 Dream Theater - Awake
8 Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons
9 Dream Theater - Falling Into Infinity
10 Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory

47 Tool - Lateralus
48 Tool - 10.000 Days (These tree are SO made for surround)
49 Transatlantic - SMPTe
50 Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever

I am actually not convinced Dream Theater would work well in surround as compared to Tool, OSI, or Muse, but I'd love someone to try :)

Thinking of Dream Theater and OSI made me remember another album that would be excellent in surround:

Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade of Gray

More progressive and less metal than any earlier Fates albums. An absolute masterpiece, IMO.

Okay, I'll play too. Off the top of my head...

He Said - Take Care (80's side project of Wire's Graham Lewis released by Mute)
The Stranglers - The Raven (thought about a few of their albums but this has always been a fave and I think the synth work on this one would be great for 5.1)
Van der Graaf Generator - Pawn Hearts
Bill Nelson - The Love That Whirls
Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
Magazine - Secondhand Daylight
Barry Adamson - Soul Murder
Slowdive - Souvlaki
David Sylvian - Gone to Earth
Rick Wakeman 6 Wives (Arthur too)
Hawkwind - Warrior on the Edge of Time
PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love
Bowie - Low & Heroes (oh what the hell, why not a 3-dvd-a berlin trilogy set)

OMG, IT was a long time ago since I last listened to Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, and I listened to both CDs on a car trip this weekend, just I put it on this list.

All who know this album probably are thinking that CD2 would be great on Multi, but I was listening to the songs Blind Faith and Misunderstood and recreating it in my mind in 5.1 (would that be fake 5.1 maybe?) I it blew my mind. There are so many cool elements on both songs that I almost shit myself (pardon my french) only by thinking I could have those songs in multichannel...

Its kinda sad thou to have to "imagine listening something I like, in 5.1"

Poker Face is out on the limited edition Mercedes Benz Signature Sound DVD.

hm! would be interesting to hear it. i do have 3 or 4 sets of Gaga's studio session and definately remember
there are this track. was planned to put those tracks into 5.1 compilation containing women artists.
is this "MB compilation disc" utilizes 48 or 96KHz?
tracks i have was recorded @48KHz but as well, can be just downsampled.

ok. i have this "Mercedes Benz Signature Sound" and got an answer to my question.
it's 48/16 audio stream. weird, why 24bit was converted to 16bit. i can understand
why 48KHz but can't see any reason behind 16bit.
