Elton John in Atmos

Even though we have no specifics about release dates or formats yet, I thought it might be good to have a dedicated thread for this since Greg Penny has confirmed that he's working on remixing Elton's catalog for Atmos.

This article from Mix magazine was just posted on the Elton John Immersive Audio Facebook group.

so far they all seem to be “vocals-all-round” style mixes and not like the old SACDs with EJ’s lead vocal hard in the Centre channel..? hmm..

they’re plenty Surround-y though.. and sound great! phew!

I think so, he mentioned working on the Diamonds compilation way back in August 2020.
