A fantastic unit even at its original price. Free, even better!

You will likely need XLR to RCA adaptors to run in your typical home system. Also no HDMI so analogue inputs are required. IMHO it is much better than any type Dolby Surround.

Designed primarily to get surround (Quad, no needless centre channel) from regular stereo. I've recommended it in many other threads!
It does have a sub output if desired.
