hi,
evertyhing seems to work on the device play stop rewind fforward,
but the capstan motor doesnt move, the outer heavy cap does spin loosely but nothing inside there moves.
I have check all the ohms for that main motor and seems ok, at first I couldn't get the 650 ohms,
and at the same time found the front panel switch end of the tape stopper wasn't switching all the way,
and then I got the mechanical reels to start spinning.
then I could see the proper 650 ohms on motor.
I have checked the tip47 and there is 128 V on the collector pin, pretty high no? manual says 54.4V
I have adjusted terminal 6 on relay board to get a exact 24,0 v it was very close.
TR1 on relay board has on collector pin 40V
TR7 on servo board has 28-37 volts and the adjustment knob vr-4 has no effect on that voltage ? strange.
Can you give me some advice on what I should replace first or what else to check before taking a decision.
