Hello,

I've been a big fan of Mark O'Connor for awhile now and finally got around to picking up a copy of this SACD. He's a musicians' musician, so whenever anyone collaborates with him, good things happen! This album is no exception. Impeccable musicianship is the order of the day here.

Mark has got what Charlie Daniels, Itzak Perlman and Jean Luc Ponty don't have...He's got it all.

If you don't like your cars and lovers fast and hot or cool and sultry, then this may not be your shot of whiskey.

I've attached the liner notes from the disc for some insight on this recording. Due to the nature of the Trio there are no majestic special effects but the multichannel mix is discrete with full use of the center and sub, and the the quality of the recording is excellent.
