Are you having problems playing surround after the updates?
I read about all sorts of problems, but nothing this specific.
I had similar problems in two computers (work and non-work).
In the work one the AV receiver driver defaults to stereo, and I cannot configure any surround. I am not going to submit a IT ticket for that...
In the other one the driver just vanished from view.
Tired of trying every succesful fix from the past (Windows doesn't make it easy for you) I am resorting to a recent restore point.
"Attempting repairs" already for hours, fingers crossed...
Both computers were capable of delivering 7.1 sound just before.

I have had a very odd error reports since the update, the error says my DisplayPort connection may not be working with my dual monitor set-up (it is BTW, perfectly!). I also had a USB-C connection to the dual monitors so I could use the ports on them, when I disconnected the USB cable the DisplayPort error reports stopped. They ask give us feedback on their error report fixes, which I had tried and found no problems, so I have sent MS a few irritated messages, stating their update has a bug.
