These were the last speakers designed by Wilfred Erenholz the founder of Dynaudio and a re classic mid centurry Walnut, they are broken in for superior performance. They were ammassed to do research on the large San Diego Home Theater seen 2 photos bellow.
Here is the Dolby Director that Launched Atmos into 1,000 movie Theaters, he loved the speakers and said the soundfield was consistent with what he heard in the Studios.
These were the prices in 2015.
The two tops in the ceiling are full range active to 20 hz in this room, they have made fancy calibrators jump up in their seats. LYD-48
The system was used to develop this big boy.
Soundwide they are better thanj new as being Dynas they require 2 years of playing to blossom ( break in). The big ones are near perfect, the middle ones, one has a cousater mark, the 260's have a bity of scratches due to a hurricane move, but play superb, this is your chance to ditch those little minispeakers and single sub and move to the new Dirac Art Paradigm where all speakers act in MIMO fashion to cretae the perfect bass in the room.
