Thank you for looking! :)

Simon......you're selling some amazing music/discs, surprised you're willing to let them go

I have a very strict rule. I go though my collection every six months and everything that I haven't listened to in the last year goes. Whatever I sell finances my next purchases. Right now, there are a few titles that I really want and as much as I love these Nat Cole SACDs, I was only listening to the same three titles, which I've kept. The ones I've sold will make someone very happy, which is what it's all about. I've learned to let go of stuff. :)

Way to go SimonA! Thing is, depending on my long wave moods, I can pull out a disc that hasn't been spun for a few years and still sit back and enjoy. Then again, I don't get a chance to listen as often as I'd like and with all the new releases, time flies. But I do have a few that might be gathering serious dust so maybe I should . . . play KC Discipline?

It's not an easy process, I'll give you that. Years ago, when I started this trend, I'd make CD-Rs so I'd have the music. I soon realized that I wasn't even listening to those. This is why I stick to this rule. It can happen that I'll re-purchase a title I've owned and then sold, but this is a rare occurrence.

I get your point entirely Simon and I'd sure like to get serious about backing up my discs though the SACD's might always be a problem. Probably by the time I'm comfortable culling my collection nobody will want or need them. Anyway, good for you making those Nat discs available to a good home.
