I don't know that he really belongs in this sub-forum, except to the extent that some records he produced (by James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt, among others) have been remixed in various surround formats--though not, as far as I know, under his supervision. Fascinating figure though: half of Peter & Gordon, head of A&R for Apple Records (where he discovered and signed Taylor), manager and producer for everyone from Ronstadt to Natalie Merchant to Courtney Love to Steve Martin.
