New James Taylor SACD's out

I picked up the two at Tower with no problem. Amazing, when the titles do come out, I've noticed that they do tend to be in better availability than a year or two ago. I haven't given them a proper, critical listen to yet, but with a quick run-through, I found them to be not as good as JT or the excellent, Hourglass. Granted, they are older recordings than Hourglass, but newer then JT and I find it odd that the sense of open-ness and more discrete use of the rears wasn't used like in JT. Don't get me wrong, they are great. Anytime a song can be opened up is "gold" to me. For me, multichannel is like a warm blanket to smother yourself in.
