It would appear that a whole generation of 2000-2001 Panasonic DVD players are prone to premature failure with H02 & H03 errors. A Google Search of 'Panasonic DVD H02' reveals much discontent and even a class action lawsuit. I didn't get an answer when I inquired about that.
I have one DVD RA60 that plays DVD and DVD audio just great, won't read CDs, CDRs or CDRWs. For $11.00 I don't care too much. The other unit was playing everything (DVD, DVD-A, CD, CDR) when I put it away. Then I go to set it up for a friend and it's bleeping H02 no matter what.
Does anybody know the secret on these players? Thanks
PS - The later production 2002 silver DVD-RA60 I have in the living room for the family has never failed and it's about a year old now....
