Hello,

I recently bought a Queen Night at opera DVD-A from a seller in amazon. I have several DVD-A discs that play perfectly in my old Pioneer 578A DVD. But this Queen disc wont play DVD-A part of the disc.

The disk may be with some problem??

I tested also in powerdvd program and it asks for a certificate and does not play.

Thanks for any help !!

I had the same problem with Rush "Moving Pictures" DVD-A that would not play in my Pioneer 610. My solution was to rip it with DVD-A Explorer and author a new DVD-A using Cirlinca's HD Audio Solo.

my guess you're talking about this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Night-Opera-A...r_1_10?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1331165314&sr=1-10

if so, there's no part you referring as DVD-Audio. that's audio only DVD with DTS surround.
full DVD-Audio version is on the link below

http://www.amazon.com/Night-Opera-D...=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1331165639&sr=1-1

Hey guys, anyone have this disc and can play on a pioneer player ??

Thanks !!
DTS version will play on all DVD players

I have the DVD-A version. I will find a friend witha dvd-a compatible player to test the disk again.

Thanks !!

The same one is on torrent.looks like a dvd audio but will not play it.
It has the dvd a menu but will only go to dts.

open the disc in explorer on PC and see does it has files in AUDIO_TS directory.
could be someone have made copy from VIDEO_TS part of the disc only.
anyway, if it contains files in AUDIO_TS but won't work on universal DVD-A/V
players, then perhaps copy have been made incorrect and disc need to be re-assembled
by the proper software into correct image file.
