Thought of doing this a few days ago, my basement floor is subtly uneven, carefully placing my Polk PSW108 on the floor so it's level doesn't last, it moves around a little due to normal use to an uneven part of the floor and that may be the cause of some rattles.
I bought this rug yesterday, found a spot where the subwoofer is level, the rug seems to be working to keep the subwoofer in place.
