There's so much to love in that clip (from the old Midnight Special TV show I think). The whole band was on top of their game.
Another thing that always jumps out at me from these old clips is Edgar, with a 21-pound electric piano hanging off the back of his neck. This was waay before anyone had ever uttered the word "keytar" - those old Univox pianos were not designed for this. Edgar just screwed a pair of strap buttons into that thing and got down to business! And no wireless, no batteries - he had an audio cable and an AC power cord slung over his shoulder. Dayum.
Of course Univox got on board with the whole concept PDQ. Check this out, hee!
