I have a Sam Cooke SACD sampler that shows all the SACD releases for Sam Cooke for abkco. It shows picture of the cover of Sam Cooke - SAR Records Story. number says 18771-9231-2
I do not remember ever seeing this one, not listed on sa-cd.net.

Was this ever released?

Oops, wrong category, this would be stereo only.

That might be a redbook collection and, as I recall, it's all mono. SAR was a label Sam Cooke founded and co-owned for several years.

It was planned for release as a 2-SACD Hybrid SACD package. I don't think the SACD version was ever released.
