Sansui QRX 5500 speaker match up

I'm just trying to outfit my new Sansui QRX5500 with some speakers. It came with a set of Sansui s-55c speakers and I have a chance to buy another set of the exact same type. These speakers say on the back they are 80 watts max. With the receiver at 30 wpc x 4 would these be any good? I guess the broader question is how does one match speakers to these vintage receivers?

They should do just fine, as far as I know, it's recomended to use 4 of the same speakers. If the speakers are 80w and the receiver 30 per channel, you should be okay

The speakers that I use with my QRX 5500 are Sansui SP 3200A they sound great and have had the speakers in use for 37yrs and just added a set of SP 3500 on the B speakers for down stairs. Good luck if you plan to up grade your set up Ken

yeah, I positioned them and hooked them and they will do for my current situation (apt building).
