i'm cleaning house and parting with titles i haven't touched in a long while.

* all discs are original & authentic
* all discs, other than The Best of Mickey Hart, were originally purchased *new* by me
* all discs are in the same condition as when purchased ... in other words, as-new
* all that came with each disc at time of purchase is still there and in same condition as when purchased

i have perfect online transactions feedback.

I also have the blowxblow hybrid disc. went to BB and plunked down $20.00 for it. was my 1st sacd purchase along with headhunters hybrid single layer. very sad that they went oop. some of my fav stuff!

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My contention is that you wanted me to pay the $8.00 Paypal fees.
Sellers should pay the PayPal fee as a cost of doing business. Also it is part of the PayPal seller's agreement that a seller pays fees.

yes, it would have been courteous of you to inform me in a timely manner via a *private message* (as you did with your initial inquiry) that you were no longer interested in making the purchase (for whatever reason) ... instead of only posting in a somewhat ambiguous manner here in this thread (post #12).

my asking price is a *NET* (to me) price. this gives the buyer flexibility to choose (within reason, of course) how they wish to pay. if a buyer is uncertain/unclear about any part of the listing, including pricing, they are more than welcome to inquire for clarification.
(other forum members who've purchased other disc titles seemed to be clear that my asking price is a NET price)

you were provided a cost breakdown that would allow me to receive my NET asking price using the payment option you chose. if you had contention with any of the costs, you could have brought that to my attention via a *private message* so we could either explore another payment option, less contentious to you ... OR just have you let me know that you were no longer interested in making the purchase (which would have been OK with me, too ... as you were under *no obligation* to make that purchase).

You are defending the indefensible.
Sellers should take the hit as a cost of doing business. Also, if you send a seller a payment as a gift, you cannot file a dispute if there is an issue with the item. Also I fast lose respect for sellers who insist on passing on the paypal fees.

there's nothing to defend. it's actually rather simple & straight forward.
each and every buyer determines what works best for them.
if a purchase price and/or terms do not work for the buyer, then the buyer does not have to make the purchase.
