You can get most game meats in supermarkets in Idaho. A few restaurants offer them as well.

I had a roommate decades ago, worked at a Caterpillar dealer. His mentor/trainer went big game hunting every year and had the meat packed and shipped to Florida. He gave my roommate Elk, Bear, and I don't remember what else. Probably was some Moose in there.
I would make a stew on Sunday's and invite our friends and we would listen to music, get a buzz, eat the stew. Not necessarily in that order. Nothing like some good old greasy Bear stew to round out a weekend. lol. I thought it quite tasty, though.

I worked for 13 years at a rechargeable battery factory, in R&D. I read a few articles about "fans" but have no idea what they are talking about.
