Delbert McClinton has a new one out-Outdated Emotion. Anyone heard it?
Not yet, but I will, love DM. ;)

Otis is the best imo. Ordered. Thanks!
Funny but whenever someone mentions Otis Spann my mind goes back
to Chicago radio WVON and the disc jockey Pervis Spann, (the blues man) along
with Herb Kent (the cool gent). LOL
All those late nights listening to the latest new and old blues records gave me a big
part of my musical roots.
Thanks guys!

Finally, after a 5 year closure due to water damage and legal battles my favorite Biscuits And Blues in San Francisco, reopens.
The upstairs tenant at 401 Mason St. San Francisco blew a large water line, flooding the small Blues venue, legal battles between insurance companies went on, plus demo and reconstruction.
All the top blues acts that you might not see anywhere came thru here, this is great news, can't wait to go and see anyone.

I got turned onto this release from @4-earredwonder, purchased for 30 bucks used.
Big Bill Broonzy-The 1955 London Sessions.
5.1 DVD-A MLP, FLAC rip, 24bit/96Khz DR's are 10, 11's, 12's, 13's.
Not a 5.1 powerhouse, but the recording as a whole is great.
Pretty fine country blues, with Big Bill doing some interesting southern commentary from a black mans perspective.

Saw Paul Jones & Dave Kelly last night, great gig in a small 400 seater about 10-20 yards from the sea. The in between chatting was really good, funny and entertaining.

Paul Jones is 82 (doesn't really look, it definitely doesn't sound it) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Jones_(singer)
& Dave Kelly on guitar is a sprightly 77! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Kelly_(musician) BTW Dave Kelly's sister is the late blues artist Jo Ann Kelly https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Ann_Kelly.

So bought 4 CDs & an LP

........ and looking around at the audience at 66 I felt young! Chap a couple of seats down from me fell asleep during the songs and woke up each time with the clapping!

Dion, (yep him)

Here's one that hasn't been mentioned in this thread.
Rockin the music scene since the late 50s Dion's never stopped and has cut a series
of blues albums over the last couple decades. I have a bunch of them here but a interview with Mark Knopfler in the latest Stereophile reminded me of his (2021) that I hadn't heard. Stomping Ground, GOOD STUFF. With a awesome lineup of the best guitarist around (Knopfler, Clapton, Gibbons, Keb Mo, more) be sure to check it out on your fav stream.
Amazing he's still gettin it done and done well at 84, give it a listen, tons of fun!

You made me go searching for my copy of his "Yo Frankie" CD from 1989, and I can't find it :(, only an EP (4 tracks, 3 off the album). It had loads of famous names on it. I suspect it got lost in a move years ago - along with a few other discs. I'll have to get another copy.
