Hi I want to no if the thorens td-190 is a good turntable for quad ,I own one and was wondering if its a good sounding one for that matter .cap is 160 on it , thats what is on thorens website . i am also using the audio techina mm440la mm cartridge . I have been reading that people on the forum are using this cartridge and have good sound on cd-4 quad. But i am new to quad and want to play my records in quad sound . and for that I went to a old technics sa-8000x receiver that i am waiting to to come in from the post office . maybe by saturday i will see it . To try it out . any other info you can give me on thorens and technics in helpfull too .
