Could this be the best price anyone's found for the Simple Minds set? $61.99 for 5 discs, including a DVD-A? That makes it a LOT more worthwhile than the current amazon price...

So has anyone confirmed what surround format the Box Set uses and what surround formats are available on the Blu-Ray? I looked at the Simple Minds web site and that is confusing. I noticed that the universalmusic site says that the "remastering" was done at Abbey Studios. Hmmm...

Do you have the TFF box or HFPA?
If so, Simple Minds should be the same.
 
Has anyone ordered from this site as saw it listed at superdeluxeedition comments today from someone else.

price for deluxe is 32 pounds and for bluray around 14 pounds.
I have sent feedback to amazon.uk that this site has lower prices, if a few others send to amazon.uk as well maybe they will lower prices which would be good for all of us

Well, I ordered the deluxe box from this site as its now listed for 28 pounds or 41 US.
Someone at superdeluxeedition said it was a good site to order from.
See how it goes.

IIRC Songs From The Big Chair was remastered there, and on casual listening seemed fine to me except for an unexpectedly poor sounding (tracking/wear/stylus dirt) needledrop from a 12".

Actually I think you missed my point. Abbey Studios doesn't actually exist. Abbey Road Studios is world famous, but Abbey Studios is not. So I wonder about any description that misses simple proofreading such as that.

To be fair, Abbey Studios is actually a photography studio in Illinois, but I hope it wasn't mastered there!

Wonder if they are shipping the HFPA Blu-Rays soon too.

I cannot afford the box at this time, but I want to get the HFPA ASAP!

Since my HFPA from Amazon is not supposed to ship until the end of the month, gonna hop on over to BS to get it I think. :)
 
I ended up ordering it from Grooves when they offered a price better than I was seeing elsewhere. Got notice that they shipped (from Germany) yesterday too.
