Sanyo FT 862 under-dash Quad 8-Track player plug

Hello there! I am quite new to the forum, but am fairly experienced in quad 8-tracks. I just picked up this sanyo under dash unit that is missing the plug into the back. I have seen many non quad units with 5 prongs, but never a quad one, which has 9 on the outside and 1 in the middle in a circle. I am looking for either a plug harness or a pinout to make my own (looks like simple molex plugs).

I found a free manual with pinout for a similar model, but it looks like 9 pins in circle, no center pin. http://www.hifi-manuals.com/Sanyo/page-4

FT-817 is the one i looked at.

seems I have one side out. But the side that is working's front volume is controlled by the opposite side's slider!
