AFAIK DVD-A has six channels max. that would normally translate into 5.1 .

The (lossy) compression schemes used on DVD-V have been extended with 6.1 versions DD-EX and DTS-ES.
Wasn't the new anniversery release of Queen's A Night at the Opera using one of those?

DVD-A does not allow for 7 channels, just the 6. DTS-ES and DD-EX are a different story.

from the DTS website:
Studio Voodoo-Studio Voodoo
SHeDAISY-The Whole SHeBANG
Insane Clown Posse-The Wraith: Shangri-La
Crystal Method, The-The Legion of Boom
Everclear-So Much For The Afterglow

I searched by technology and then just looked for the DTS-ES symbol. These are just the DVD-A discs with a DTS-ES 6.1 mix, one could search the "5.1 Music Discs" and "cd+dvd" groups as well for a complete list.

Right, these are all "more than" 5.1, but the NOT DVD-Audio tracks. The question was about DVD-Audio discs, which are maxed out at 5.1.
