Did DPLII, DTS:Neo & stadium/church/etc ruin surround music's reputation?

John, You are welcome. The future is the virtual 3D soundfield. I’m not sure how that will finally be realized, or whether I will be around to experience it, but it’s exciting to hear the work in progress. I’m reminded of an old Rodriguez cartoon in Stereo Review magazine. There was a drawing of a tombstone and written on it were the words “Missed compact disc by six months”! We’re all a little like that, we don’t wanna miss nuttin!
