Echoing a question from another post, "why do two different quad masters for a Q8 release?"
"Imagine" Apple USA cart has the track list as the stereo LP (=CD) and SQ LP.
"Imagine" EMI UK swapped songs inside the sides on both programs.
[For the techie: given 1 2 3 4 5 / 6 7 8 9 10 the sequence of LP, the UK q8 has:
1 3 4 2 5 / 6 7 9 8 10]
So the swap wasn't done for even-time reason.
Any thought on that? Why two different masters for the same album?
