Tried a few things and finally found a nice solution to the NLA ear cushions on these Quadrafones I’ve had forever. Here are some photos. They sure are comfy. Foam is 1" thick, polyurethane, "regular" charcoal foam from Foam Factory. I used hot glue to attach the pads to the 'phones, so I could position each corner properly, allow to dry, then move to the next corner in somewhat quick succession. Getting nice, square cuts was the hardest part. After watching a few YouTube videos about how great these electric kitchen knives work on foam, I made a small "routing table" from a jig I made to repair record changers. The hole in the center was a little difficult. A thinner knife blade would be better for the sharp turns. Any way, it was cheap and it's functional. I doubt Koss will make them anytime soon.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
