I don't like this one either. His other stuff is much better IMO.

I cant' say I disagree with the fact that his musical content has been better, but I think it is safe to say that the Guitar slinger from his CTI days hasn't really been present for a LONG time. It would be a disservice not to re-emphasize how great a 5.1 treatment this album gets and if you take the time to listen closely there are many excellent guitar bits throughout the record. The playing, production and multichannel mix - especially in DTS 96/24 are all stellar. The MOR/smooth jazz parts not so much. Still like it overall though.
