Is it ok to post about converting quad vinyl to digital?

I wonder if there's anyone who could do this for me? But I didn't want to step in toes, even though the record is 40+ years old.

Not sure what the rules say about soliciting conversion services. Typically it's okay to discuss technical aspects of digital conversion or to mention/describe conversions you've done yourself (or conversions you've heard). Not okay to provide download links or links to sites where such things are available. Anything in between--like the current thread about YouTube 5.1 channels--is a gray area, I think.

It would be great to have a permalink in the navigation bar and/or on the site landing page to a page where all such QQ-specific rules are spelled out. Right now the "Terms and rules" page only contains boilerplate Terms of Service language that would apply to any XenForo forum.

It's OK to talk all you want! There are posts and threads here about digitising vinyl and about script decoding as well!
