Sorry to hear the sad news that JJ Cale has passed.
I will be playing his Road To Escondido LP this evening.

JJ Cale - that first album (Naturally) with the raccoon on the cover came out of nowhere when it was all about Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper. So long ago.

I was listening to Troubadour yesterday and wondering if there would be a new album at any time. Now having seen this thread, sadly not. RIP.

Saw him here in town in 2009 in a small hall with 600 people.
Fabulous, just an original. Very few of them.
He will be missed.
let's hope we may get some unreleased material if we have heirs with some savvy.
