Incredible that he was sued just for sounding like himself!

I always thought that his solo stuff had a bit of a harshness to it "digital sound". Perhaps it could have benefited from a couple of generations of analogue tape, but then it really would be CCR!

I wonder if this will clear the way to get those old quad CCRs out in a modern format. or even new Fogerty/CCR releases from the original masters!

I wish Sonny Bono had never been in Congress. He made the copyrights have too long lifetimes. If he hadn't done that, all of these recordings would now be in the public domain where they belong.
