Lou Reed - New York

Wow. GREAT album/box set.
Such vivid and gritty songs.
I think I finally “get” Lou Reed.
The album sounds excellent in 24/96 on the DVD, as do the live tracks from the Montreal concert.
Discs 2 & 3 (Live tracks and demos) sound surprisingly good considering their cassette sources.

Patti Smith Group - Wave

Great Album.
Haven’t played this is many years, prompted now by hearing Dancing Barefoot (killer song) on Daisy Jones & The Six.
Sounds thin, wonder if the remaster sounds better than this original issue CD. Or do we thank Todd Rundgren.
Freaks me out that it was released a month before I graduated from High School.
Is that really possible?
