I listened to this album on Streaming a few weeks ago. I purchased the CD back in 1987 and ended up trading it in at a used record store. After refreshing my memory, now I know why. It was terrible. Though, that is what I think of all their Capitol releases with the exception of their self-titled first album.

I can’t wait until they release deluxe box editions of their CBS and Mushroom years. I hope they hurry cause I’m getting old.

This is hard to listen to, but i look at it as an oppurtunity to further my musical background. The stereo FLAC 24/96 with DR's of 11 & 13, two tracks quality is OK, but moog noise is, well not that good, I would like it better if I smoked three joints. George Harrison's 2nd album from 1969 then would come All Things Must Pass in 1970.

My final stop on my Zappa listen. I really liked the sound quality of these recent 24/96 and 24/192 stereo downloads from HDTracks. A PDF booklet is supplied with all the 5 releases. I listened well and followed along with the lyrics. Zappa is such a fantastic muscian and band leader, his lyrics are rude and hiliarious.
Joes Garage Acts I, II, III, 24/192 DR's are 11's, 12's, 13's, 14's, 15, 17.

The most recent vinyl reissue of this sounds wonderful. "Watermelon in Easter Hay" is one of my favorite guitar solos of all time by anyone.

Great music by Zakk Wylde on this releases, very acoustic with electric mix, very mellow for Zakk Wylde.
24/48 DR's are 5's & 6's but not a problem.
