I had this same combo of albums on DTS cd from years back. This disc sounds great! I have always liked Mancini and the addition of Doc is nice. Once again the sound is clean and full. And you can't complain for the price either. Keep em coming.

Agreed. Adding Doc Severinsen to the Henry Mancini Orchestra is quite a treat.
Thumbs up!

Severinsen's trumpet sounds excellent. Orchestra is smooth and has decent imaging, often split between front and rear channels in a tastefully discrete way. One challenge for me is the positioning of the bass (instrument) in the rear channels. I may get used to it, but for me the soundstage would be much better grounded if bass were front focused. Overall a decent purchase, a fix for occasional early 70's nostalgia. :)

Side note: Doc Severinsen is 89, and still touring! Wow.
