Crazy price just because it's Marantz. That version has front to back logic only. The SQA-2 is full logic.

People even want crazy prices for the cover plate that goes on if no decoder board is installed!

Totally agree. Just think of the Full Logic Wave Matching with Vari-blend decoders out there such as Sony or Lafayette that could be had for that price. Or better yet just get a Surround Master for a nifty piece of gear built in this century.

That's actually cheap, and the problem is none of them work right. I've got several and I need a rebuilder for them.
