I recently moved one of my Sony Blu-ray/MCH SACD players to my basement home theater system (my AV receiver there only decodes DD, DTS and DPL [original and 2 music/movie]).
I've been playing my Elton John MCH SACDs with the Sony set to create Dolby Surround from the discrete surround sound mix on these albums, listening carefully to the resulting Dolby Pro-Logic decode, I haven't heard any sounds "wandering" due to the Dolby Logic trying to find something to latch on to to enhance the directionality.
Anyone heard any sounds "wandering" due to using a logic directed matrix surround sound decoder (making fake surround sound from stereo or, in my case, a Dolby Surround downmix of content not specifically mixed to take into account the limitations of Dolby Pro-Logic)?
