Mummer String Band Q8s

By chance I went into my local rat's nest of a second hand shop, actually in a multi-roomed old barn (this place really is like a junk yard...) and lo and behold in an old 8 track tape case pulled out two of the Mummer quad 8 tracks on Sure Records. I've been aware of these and the records for a long time, particularly since I lived in Broomall, PA for 2 years where they were made. Anyone know if the quad is very good onthem? My instincts would lead me to think not, but they are curiosities. For overseas members, the Mummers are string bands that perform during the annual New Years Day parade in Philadelphia, quite dressed up...our version of Mardi Gras in the snow. Grand total $1.06. Also thanks to Mats for the Kisa Magnusson QS LP tip, I got a copy from Sweden coming. John S.

Are these discrete? I seem to remember seeing one of these as a matrix 8-track, but I could be wrong.

I remember there was a series of SQ LPs of these, but I don't think I ever remember seeing a Q8! Probably you got a nice find there as far as rarity goes.

I used to have several copies over the years but they were all matrix 8 tracks. I never saw a discrete Q8 Sure Mummers' 8 track.
