Been enjoying vintage Quad so much lately, I couldn't help but share the joy!

Any matrix quad encoded prerecorded compact cassettes or non-SQ/QS matrix encoded content (Circle Surround, Dolby Surround, UHJ etc.)?

(the non-SQ/QS content would likely decode best w/QS)

IMHO, the Columbia Intro to SQ LP does a good job of addressing the likely objections to quad sound.

Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday there Mike; thanks for sharing some of your collection. Just goes to show how much un-released ( to digital) Quad still remains out there to experience. I've only been collecting for a few years now and you already have titles that I don't have. Normally I don't bother with the titles that have already been released in SACD or other digital Matrixed formats (mainly I'm talking about the Dutton Vocalion stuff that you'll find should sound much cleaner/ no ticks & pops, discrete sounding and mastered brilliantly compared to an LP decode.)

It will be very interesting to see what else you dig up on your Quad travels.

If possible, try to obtain a true Shibata stylus, it will help in playing used records by contacting some of the upper half of the groove which isn't damaged even by high tracking force record players.
