Excellent job. Not a Silverline in the pile, and they're all (with the exception of the Elvis) decent DVD-A's.

NICE!

filper,

REM - In Time...that's their greatest hits, right?

How does it sound?

And the Tom Cochrane/Red Rider too. Been thinking about that one.

Not sad to have your music on a spreadsheet.
Smart IMHO.

I need some database to keep track of what I have (to avoid buying doubles;)) and for insurance reasons. I have pictures of my CD shelves too.

I can just see some insurance adjuster saying: "you had how many CDs/SACDs/DVD-As??....right....prove it".

Of course that same adjuster will have no idea what an SACD or DVD-A is but that's another story.

A list is good to have with a digital picture in your home 'surroundings' for insurance purposes.

Anybody ever take their current collection and translate it into a street value ?

It might not be a bad idea.

I know I'm thinking about doing that.

Rang and rusinurbe,

how is the Muddy Waters? Isn't a DAD 24/96, or something like that?

A store near by has a new copy for fairly cheap, and I was thinking of getting it as the SACD will probably remain beyond my budget.

The copy I have is an HDAD.
It's a two sided disc with 24/192 DVD-A on one side, 24/96DAD (or DVD-V) on the other.
It was also released as a single sided DAD 24/96.

Sounds very good. Well recorded and because it's basically acoustic that quality shines through. Many consider this one of the great audiophile caliber recordings. I wouldn't go quite that far.
