*twidling my thumbs in patience* let's hope this is the official date once and for all...my birthday is the 9th, dammit! Again the price has shot back up to $19.99 as well. Ho hum.

For those interested to hear ANYTHING new in surround, Monster is also releasing female vocalist Anjulie's debut album in the same format, however Amazon has not release date yet. Here's the link:

Hello,

Amazon just emailed me that my order for this title has finally shipped (12/13/09). I hope the 13 isn't a bad omen, I ordered this in August. The last thing I need now is for it to get lost in transit. We'll see, it's scheduled to arrive on the 16th. Can't wait, but I guess for now I'll just have to :chill. Just couldn't resist working that in somehow...

Never mind: Amazon says the CD-DVD-A package is NOT being released until Oct. 6, priced at $19.99:

Just got the release info from Concord. It's not a DVD-A but rather one of the Monster "HDS" Music Discs.

It has 5.1 Surround in both DTS 24/96 audio and Dolby Digital 448kb. The release says:

• Superdiscs are not DVD Audio discs, they are compatible with any DVD player.
• Surround audio encoded in Dolby Digital (448kbps) and DTS 96/24 (1.5Mbps)
• Digital Music Files: WMA (192Kbps), AAC (320Kbps)
