Im a new member to this site and hope that I can contribute something useful to the Quad community!
The first thing I can contribute regards the Signetics CD894A chip used in the JVC CD-4 Demodulator model 4DD-5.
It is an NE565 PLL.
Which is the same as a National Semiconductor LM565.
I tried it in the JVC Demodulator and it works just fine! You never know until you know!
Just wanted to let ya all know that if you need to replace a CD894A in any Demodulator that the Signetics NE565 or National Semiconductor LM565CN will work!
