Peter Scheiber - why does recognition evade him ?

Bet peter Scheiber wouldn't by Ray Dolby a beer if they met in a bar.

This is the guy that got it going. There's nothing about him on Wikipedia I see. Or if there is someone's spelt his name incorrectly. He was a musicial and a quadraphonic pioneer.

Has anyone got any of his Scheiber encoded records? What's he up to nowdays?

This is real sad.

This is the only thing I could find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadraphonic_sound He is credited as a source of information at the bottom. I see there is some misinformation in this Wiki. Anyone up to the challenge of correcting it? At least QQ and Mark Anderson are also in the reference links.
