So sad to read this. I remember being introduced to EW&F on 8-track in my mom’s car when I was a kid and I've never lost my love for their music.

Will be breaking out the EW&F CDs this week in memory of Fred.

Its sad that the icons of our past are disappearing. I will break out my Gratitude in 5.1 as well.

I had never really heard Gratitude after it was released. It wasn't until 1979 that I had heard Reasons live from that LP and I was hooked! I was in Detroit that Memorial Day weekend visiting family and was radio surfing and landed on WJZZ in Detroit, who played Reasons.
